ALL NSW political parties should make jobs growth their top priority as state parliament resumes for the year, according to Unions NSW.

Secretary Mark Lennon called on NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell to outline how he intended to stop job losses and resuscitate the NSW economy.

Mr Lennon’s comment came after ANZ announced its intention to cut up to 1000 jobs and retailer Sleep City went into administration.

“We’ve asked for an urgent meeting with the Premier about his plans to kick-start the NSW economy but to date that request has been met with stony silence,” Mr Lennon said.
